The Conway School District serves approximately 580 English Learners (ELs). Our mission in the ESOL Program is to equip our students with the academic tools and language skills needed that will enable them to overcome any adversity they may face and to become contributing members to their school and their community.

Upon enrollment, students are screened using the ELPA21 Screener. Students who are classified as Limited English Proficient (LEP) are eligible for ESOL services. A Language Proficiency Assessment Committee meets to determine the best placement and services for them. Parents are notified as to what services will be provided.
