The Conway School District operates under the Board of Education, made up of seven citizens elected at the annual school election on the third Tuesday in May.
- The members of the Board serve five-year terms, arranged so that either one or two are elected annually.
- The Board of Education is the policy-making body of the school district and elects the Superintendent.
- The Board of Education meets regularly on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Conway Public Schools Administration Building, located at 2220 Prince Street.
- School Board meetings are open to the public.
