As Deputy Superintendent, Jason Black oversees various departments throughout CPSD and supports both building level and district level leaders. Black joined the Conway team in 2022 after 17 years in education with experience in the various roles of teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, director, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. He is a native of Louisiana and a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. He is appreciative of his time with many great leaders stemming from his time in the United States Marine Corps through his many relationships built as an educator. 

Mr. Black says he is the lucky husband to his wife and fellow educator, Shannon. They are the proud parents of three children, Ella, Brylee, and Carson. Mr. Black enjoys supporting his kids at their sporting events and spending time by the grill or by the water with family and friends.
