Mrs. Jan Armstrong has served as a counselor in the Conway School District for more than 20 years. Prior to that, she was a counselor at Perryville High School for two years and taught ninth and tenth grade English there for three years. Originally from Newport, Arkansas, Mrs. Armstrong has a BSE in English with a minor in Social Studies and a MSE in Secondary Counseling along with certification for Secondary Administration.

She and her husband Paul have two daughters and are the proud grandparents of their granddaughter Avery.

Mrs. Cameron Jernigan joined the Conway High School Faculty in the Fall of 2021. Previously, she served as Counselor at both Ruth Doyle and Simon Middle Schools. Prior to living in Conway, Mrs. Jernigan was a counselor in Heber Springs, Searcy, and Newport School Districts.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Education at Arkansas State University and a Master of Science in Counseling from Harding University.

She and her husband, Cody are parents to Anna Catherine and Eli.

Mrs. Maggie Martin came to Conway High School in the Fall of 2020.  Previously, she served as the school counselor for Bob and Betty Courtway Middle School from 2016-2020.  She earned her Master of Science in School Guidance Counseling in 2014 from the University of Central Arkansas. 

From 2012-2016, Mrs. Martin taught 6th and 7th Grade English Language Arts at Ruth Doyle Middle School, and before coming to Conway School District, she served as a 7th Grade English teacher at Benton Middle School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from University of Central Arkansas.  She loves working at the high school level and supporting the students and faculty of Conway High School.

She, her husband (Preston), and her son (Jace) reside in Conway and bleed Wampus Cat blue!

Gerard Martin has been a counselor at Conway High School since July of 2017. Prior to that, he enjoyed five years as counselor at Ruth Doyle Middle School.

Martin received his Masters of Education in School Counseling from the University of Central Arkansas in 2008. He taught middle school English and was a counselor in the Mayflower School District for a total of 11 years.

Mr. Martin and his wife, who is an Instructional Facilitator for Conway School District, have two daughters. As a family, they love being in the outdoors and enjoying all the great opportunities the Natural State has to offer.
