Conway Public Schools District Wellness
Conway Public Schools recognizes that the health and welllness of our staff and students directly affects their ability to teach and learn. Our district's wellness policy is designed to create a culture in all our schools that consistently promotes good nutrition and physical activity.
Balance is essential for any School District Wellness Policy. Key areas include:
- Nutrition Education
- Physical Activity
- Community Involvement
- Other school-based activities that are designed to promote student wellness.
Conway Public Schools has a District Wellness Committee comprised of employees from all 16 schools, as well as members of the school board and Conway community. The District Wellness Committee meets quarterly during each school year. Members are responsible for planning and executing district and school-level wellness activities, completing the School Health Index, and setting district and school wellness goals annually.
