The Department of Accessibility and Accountability is responsible for school district compliance with Federal and State laws. 

The Conway Public School District participates in the standardized student assessment program as required by the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education.

K-2 Assessments
Students in Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade participate in the NWEA Assessment.  This assessment is given three times a year and measures student growth in reading and mathematics.  The main purpose of this assessment is to give teachers data on student progress that can be used to tailor instruction to meet individual student needs.

ACT Aspire
Students in 3rd-10th grades participate in the ACT Aspire.  This assessment is the main indicator for the state accountability system that measures student academic performance in language arts, mathematics, and science.  Students take two formative assessments during the school year that give teachers data on student progress and growth.  A final summative assessment is given in late April/early May.

ACT
Students in the 11th grade will have one opportunity to take the ACT exam free of charge at school during the spring semester.  This administration date does count towards college admission, scholarship eligibility, and athletic eligibility.  Other exam dates are available at cost throughout the school year, and fee waivers are available for qualifying students.

ELPA21
English Language Learners in grades Kindergarten -12th grade participate in the ELPA21 exam during the spring semester.  The purpose of this exam is to measure the level of language acquisition for students in the areas of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
